Fibreglass Lining to Water Feature – Oxford
Lining Services were given an order to fibreglass line a water feature at a private residence in Oxford.
The main part of the feature was constructed from paving stones which were porous. There was a raised element with fountains that created a waterfall effect down to a narrow rill which led to the main section.
In the main section there were two raised plinths which would be stepping stones to allow a way of crossing to the lawn when full of water.
We installed a fibreglass lining to the feature creating upstands where required and moulding around plinths and fountain fittings. The fibreglass was chased into the wall where necessary so not to leave an exposed edge. Finish colour was black as requested by the client.
The photographs below show how the completed feature turned out.
