THE PROBLEM
As can be seen from this photograph, the walls were in a poor condition and the brickwork was beginning to spall, creating an unhygienic wall surface which was difficult to clean.THE SOLUTION
It was decided to apply a fibreglass lining of chopped strand glassfibre with polyester resin. The brickwork was firstly primed with polyester resin, then the chopped strand glassfibre was applied which was saturated with polyester resin. This was allowed to cure then a top coat of high gloss ceramic-like polyester finish was applied which completely sealed the surface.THE COMPLETED JOB
As can be seen from this photograph, the fibreglass lining offered the ideal solution to the problem. The fibreglass wall lining provided a seamless lining which is impervious to any moisture penetration and leaves an easy clean, wipeable ceramic-like finish. For more information on how Lining Services can help you transform your operating environment with hygienic wall lining go to the Wall lining page or contact or call Steve Dowdell on 01206 570090.
